IT Development Manager (Projects & Sales)
Our client a leader in producing advanced contract administration software for architects is seeking a Project Manager, IT and Sales, for their Charlottetown PEI based operations. The Project Manager will be responsible for business development opportunities and enhanced customer/agent experience.
The Project Manager (IT/Sales) is a pivotal role within the delivery team that carries a responsibility for coordinating project delivery activities, monitoring and controlling timelines of a project and its deliverables, and providing timely status to clients/business partners. The Project Manager will be expected to: Lead, plan, organize, execute, and monitor project phases for varying IT projects and change requests
Maintain project documentation, including project status reports, project cost accounts, project schedules and the work breakdown structure Plan, monitor, and communicate timelines of project deliverables, working closely with supplier teams and various stakeholders.
Liaise with clients across all lines of business, operations groups, and Architectural teams to coordinate and support project delivery activities. Coordinate status calls, business requirements sessions, and solution reviews with project teams, executives, and other stakeholders.
Provide input to process improvement opportunities, performance metrics reporting.
Respond to issues and manage the customer?s expectations regarding any changes throughout project life cycle
Actively manage business development processes to ensure continued growth of the organization.
Educate architectural firms in the contract administration software and enlist their support to the point that they implement the program in their organization?s standard work practice Qualifications: 3-5 years of planning and project management experience A proven sales record in software and web markets as well as a strong understanding of the architecture industry.
Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent work experience
Experience leading/managing a team
Solid business acumen, Strong customer focus
Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills To succeed in this role you must have an outgoing personality with a desire to interact and network yourself in the local, regional and national architectural community.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to listen, understand, and respond both appropriately and effectively
Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Demonstrated ability to learn; both complex technical concepts and end to end business processes
Knowledge of the development life cycle process.
Ability to manage ambiguity, uncertainty and changing priorities
Experience in IT development lifecycle would be an asset.
Knowledge of architectural technology products and/or architecture considered strong asset The Project Manager will play a very important role in the success of the entire company, and will be remunerated accordingly. A competitive salary structure will be determined based on experience.
This is a full time permanent position with endless opportunity, occasional travel may be required.
