I am selling my 1989 Ford f-250 XLT Lariat super cab, long box, p/w, p/l, a/c, 460 ci engine, fifth wheel ( currently not installed but included with truck ), fifth wheel tail gate (standard tail gate also included), electric brake for hauling trailers, tool box for in the bed, and several spare parts also included.
I am asking $3000.00 or best offer. I have done alot of work to the truck since I bought it. I dissassembled the entire truck, sand blasted the entire frame and recoated it to protect it from corrosion, with the body off I replaced all the brake lines and one of the front calipers, and the rear shocks. I cleaned the rust off the dual gas tanks and rust coated them. The main body of the truck has been completely sanded down including all the floors underneath and inside. Then it was coated with a self ecthing primer, a high build primer and and then painted black ( any rust I found was repaired ), I welded in new metal along the bottem of the radiator support where it had rusted out over the years. I replaced both doors and mirrors on the truck as the old ones were in pretty rough shape. After reassembling the body I rockguarded the entire underside of the body to further protect it from corrosion. Then I started going trough the trucks mechanics. I replaced the radiator, alternator, I removed all the wiring harness for the entire truck, repaired any damage and rewraped it before installing it back into the truck, I found a period correct tire jack and handle for it then fited into the stock locations, I replaced the seals in the a/c lines to prevent any leaks, I replaced all the fluids in the truck, installed a new battery, and even built a custom set of hand controls for it ( intended for myself but I never got to use them). The truck over all is in excellent condition and I am looking forward to seeing it go to somebody who apreciates it like I do.
